Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently while maintaining high quality standards
- Engage with guests to understand their preferences and recommend drinks or menu items to enhance their experience
- Operate POS system Toast POS.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Manage multiple bar stations using effective time management skills to ensure prompt service
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and balancing registers at shift end
Skills
- Proven experience in food industry roles such as brewpubs, dining, nightclub, or banquet service with a focus on hospitality excellence
- Proficiency with POS system Toast POS
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect positively with diverse guests
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts
- Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling procedures, and proper alcohol serving protocols
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate billing
- Experience in catering or food service environments that require multitasking and adaptability
- Familiarity with beverage brewing techniques or the food industry’s operational standards
