We are seeking a detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our night shift: Monday to Thursday 5:00 pm to 4:00 am. In this role, you will be responsible for operating machinery, assembling components, and ensuring quality standards are met.
About the Role:
As a Machine Operator on the night shift within the manufacturing industry, you will play a critical role in ensuring the continuous and efficient operation of production machinery. Your primary focus will be to set up, operate, and monitor machines to produce high-quality products that meet company standards and customer specifications. You will be responsible for identifying and troubleshooting minor mechanical issues to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules. This role requires strict adherence to safety protocols and quality control measures to maintain a safe working environment and product integrity. Ultimately, your work will contribute directly to the overall productivity and success of the manufacturing process during the night shift.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience operating manufacturing machinery or similar equipment.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to perform routine maintenance tasks.
- Ability to work night shifts consistently and reliably.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in machine operation or industrial maintenance.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment with automated or CNC machinery.
- Familiarity with quality control procedures and documentation.
- Basic computer skills for logging production data and communicating with team members.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and calibrate machinery according to production specifications and schedules.
