What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Marketing Manager position at Inveniv?
Full-time | Hybrid (NC Triangle–based)
At Inveniv, we design and deliver brand and marketing experiences that help life science companies grow, scale, and lead. Our clients include CDMOs, CROs, digital health companies, emerging biotech, and B2B SaaS platforms that power the drug development and healthcare ecosystem.
We’ve been operating since 2017 and have launched dozens of brands, delivered hundreds of campaigns, and earned a reputation for creative thinking that respects the science. Our team includes strategists, writers, designers, and developers who thrive on solving tough problems and building momentum for our clients.
We’re a Platinum HubSpot Solutions Partner with deep experience in using the platform to support complex go-to-market strategies, sales enablement, and customer engagement across the life sciences industry.
We’re seeking an experienced Senior Marketing Manager to lead client marketing efforts across digital channels, especially for organizations in the life sciences, healthtech, and B2B scientific markets.
This role is ideal for a mid- to senior-level marketer who knows how to turn strategy into execution—and who understands the nuance of working with technical subject matter, complex buyer journeys, and highly regulated industries. You’ll work closely with other marketers, designers, and strategists, and you’ll play a critical role in campaign development, content planning, HubSpot operations, and project delivery.
- Lead and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns for Inveniv’s life sciences clients
- Serve as a project lead and client liaison—ensuring work is on brief, on time, and on strategy
- Create content and manage assets across email, paid media, social, blog, events, and web
- Build and optimize marketing automation, lead nurturing, and campaign workflows in HubSpot
- Collaborate closely with Inveniv’s creative and strategy teams on messaging, visual content, and reporting
- Support internal marketing and promotional efforts for the Inveniv brand
- Have 5–8 years of experience in marketing, ideally in an agency or B2B life sciences setting
- Are a confident and experienced user of HubSpot, especially Marketing Hub and CRM tools
- Understand how to communicate scientific or technical offerings to non-technical audiences
- Have written or managed content that aligns to complex buyer journeys and long sales cycles
- Love taking campaigns from concept to delivery—rolling up your sleeves as needed
- Work well on a team, enjoy fast-moving environments, and like wearing multiple hats
- Are highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects at once
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, life sciences, journalism, or a related field
- Familiarity with life science markets, including biotech, CDMO/CRO, medical devices, or healthtech
- Experience using HubSpot to manage campaigns, workflows, scoring, segmentation, and reporting
- Strong writing and content development background
- Exposure to Adobe Creative Cloud, Google Workspace, and project management tools like Monday.com or Asana
This is a hybrid in-office and remote position, but applicants must reside in the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill area. Our forward-facing team meets in person regularly for creative planning and collaboration. We value flexibility, but also believe in the energy of face-to-face time—especially when great ideas are on the line.
- 100% employer-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance
- Generous PTO and paid holidays
- Remote-first agency culture with Triangle-based in-person collaboration
- Work on important brands in the science and health innovation space
- A team that respects both the creative process and the scientific rigor behind our clients’ work
Salary is commensurate with experience, aligned to senior-level roles in marketing and life sciences. Bonus opportunities and growth pathways are available for high performers.
