Duties
- Safely operate herbicide spraying equipment, including hand tools, farm machinery, and power tools, to apply treatments accurately across designated areas
- Prepare herbicide solutions according to manufacturer instructions and safety protocols before application
- Conduct site assessments to determine the appropriate herbicide type, dosage, and application method for each project
- Use land management techniques such as mowing or trimming with hand tools or power tools to prepare sites for herbicide application when necessary
- Maintain detailed records of applications, including locations, chemicals used, weather conditions, and safety checks
- Follow all safety guidelines related to chemical handling, storage, and disposal to protect yourself, colleagues, and the environment
- Assist with other land care tasks such as pest control, lawn care, or general landscaping projects as needed
Requirements
- Prior experience in sales related to agricultural products or landscaping services is a plus but not required
- Knowledge of pest control methods, lawn care practices, farming techniques, or agriculture is highly desirable
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, farm machinery, and small vehicles confidently and safely
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for operating company vehicles or equipment on-site
- Strong understanding of land management principles and environmental safety standards
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions for chemical application
- Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions while standing, walking, or operating equipment for extended periods
