What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Analyst – ERP Systems (Client Support: NDS) position at INVAR Technologies?
About the Role
INVAR Technologies is seeking a Business Analyst to join our client success and IT strategy team, supporting one of our key clients operating on a premise-based ERP platform, NDS.
This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in connecting business operations with technical execution. You’ll be the bridge between our client’s day-to-day ERP processes and INVAR’s internal development team — ensuring that business needs are clearly translated into functional solutions.
If you’re a strong communicator who enjoys understanding how businesses work, analyzing workflows, and collaborating with technical teams to make processes smarter and more efficient, we’d love to meet you.
What You’ll Do
- Engage with client stakeholders to understand business processes, workflows, and operational challenges within the NDS ERP system.
- Translate business requirements into clear documentation, specifications, and project deliverables for the development team.
- Act as the liaison between business users and technical teams to ensure alignment and clarity.
- Map and document processes, data flows, and system dependencies for future reference and scalability.
- Identify and help design opportunities for automation using tools like Power Automate and related technologies.
- Support sprint planning, testing, and delivery cycles to ensure efficient project execution.
- Provide training, support, and knowledge transfer as the client evolves toward a modernized ERP platform.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field.
- 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or ERP support professional.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to “speak both languages” — translating between business needs and technical specifications.
- Experience working with ERP systems (NDS, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, or similar).
- Familiarity with workflow automation or low-code tools (e.g., Power Automate) is a plus.
- Prior experience working with or for a Managed Service Provider (MSP) is a plus.
Why Join INVAR
At INVAR Technologies, we don’t just support technology — we empower businesses through smart, human-centered IT solutions. As part of our Client Success and IT Strategy team, you’ll work closely with industry professionals who value innovation, collaboration, and proactive problem-solving.
This role offers flexibility, professional growth, and the opportunity to make a measurable impact on how a client operates their core business systems.
