About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality medical care within a correctional facility setting. This role involves delivering compassionate and professional healthcare to incarcerated individuals while ensuring safety, security, and compliance with facility protocols.
Details:
- Position: Registered Nurse
- Location: 1215 W. 3rd St Cleveland, OH 44113
- Shift: 72 hours bi-weekly Night shift: 6:45pm-7:15am including every other weekend and rotating holidays. No exceptions. Will not adjust shift to accommodate traveler's availability.
- Duration: 13 weeks with possible extension
Pay: $2300 - $2500 per week
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to inmates in accordance with medical guidelines
- Perform patient assessments, administer medications, and manage treatment plans
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid/triage care
- Document patient conditions, treatments, and progress accurately
- Collaborate with correctional officers, physicians, and mental health staff
- Maintain safety procedures and follow all security protocols
- Educate patients on health management and preventive care
Qualifications
- RN state or compact license
- 1 year One year of clinical experience in nursing as an RN
- BLS through AHA
- Covid vaccinated
