SUMMARY
The Commercial Site Inspector (Field Support Specialist) is responsible for ensuring the successful resolution of client concerns through onsite support, training, and troubleshooting at commercial construction sites. This role involves diagnosing and addressing product issues, conducting installation training, and maintaining communication with clients and internal teams to ensure high-quality service and uphold the company’s reputation.
PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES
- Provide onsite support to installers, contractors, developers, and building owners to diagnose and resolve product-related issues.
- Conduct installation and adjustment training for INTUS Windows products for new and ongoing projects.
- Attend job-site meetings to deliver technical guidance, pre-delivery training, and remediation plans.
- Perform quality assurance testing and assist with field testing on assigned projects.
- Maintain active communication with clients and internal teams, keeping them informed of service progress and outcomes.
- Submit daily service reports, including required actions for back-office staff and updates for the Service Manager.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, including adherence to OSHA training and regulations.
- Perform mock-up window installations and demonstrate proper installation techniques to clients.
- Analyze improper installation methods and provide solutions to prevent recurring issues.
- Monitor responsible use of company assets, including vehicles, tools, and a corporate credit card, while traveling.
- Proactively manage Active Claim Management reports and escalate issues to the Service Manager as needed.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of product functionality to troubleshoot and resolve technical questions from clients.
- Travel weekly to different commercial construction sites, completing 1-3 services daily and submitting corresponding reports.
- Represent INTUS Windows professionally, ensuring a positive brand image at all client interactions.
- Stay up to date with product knowledge, tools, and training to enhance service quality and efficiency.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior experience in field service, construction, or technical support is a plus.
- OSHA certification is required to access active construction sites. Not OSHA certified, no problem. INTUS will provide OSHA certification by enrolling you in the courses required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Frequent travel to commercial job sites across the country.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks onsite.
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including exposure to heat, cold, and noise.
- Use of INTUS-provided tools and equipment.
- Perform work with OSHA required PPE; Including COVID19 PPE
