Patient Care Coordinator

- We are open to part-time and full-time shift preferences.
- Greet and check in patients, verifying insurance and collecting required documentation
- Schedule and confirm appointments, managing the therapists' calendars effectively
- Answer phones professionally and direct calls appropriately
- Process patient payments and manage daily financial transactions
- Verify insurance benefits and obtain necessary authorizations
- Manage electronic medical records and ensure patient information is accurate and up-to-date
- Coordinate with clinical staff regarding patient flow and scheduling
- Maintain a clean and welcoming reception area
- Handle general office duties including patient documents and supply management
- Assist with insurance claims processing as needed
- Participate, as requested and with reasonable notice, in community outreach, local events, patient education, employer/school outreach, or relationship-building activities that support clinic growth, brand awareness, and community engagement. Frequency may vary by market, business need, and role
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred
- 1-2 years of medical office or customer service experience
- Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare office procedures
- Proficiency with electronic medical records systems and practice management software
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Outstanding organizational abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Professional appearance and positive, friendly demeanor
- Knowledge of medical insurance and billing procedures preferred
