About the Role:
Intuitive Safety Solutions (ISS) is seeking an experienced Project Safety Advisor to support a long-term (>12 months) data center construction project in Reno, NV. This role involves overseeing safety compliance across two active sites within the same project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily safety observations and ensure compliance with site safety standards.
- Participate in Go/No-Go activities and weekly meetings.
- Monitor project schedules and identify potential safety risks.
- Observe and report hazards, ensuring alignment with General Contractor (GC) safety protocols.
- Collaborate with multiple trades, including mechanical, electrical, boilermakers, welders, and crane operators.
Requirements:
- OSHA 30 certification (mandatory). CHST certification strongly preferred.
- 7 years of safety experience preferred; candidates with data center experience will be considered even if below 7 years.
- Strong knowledge of construction safety practices and hazard identification.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
