We are seeking an experienced Logistics Specialist that thrives in a fast-paced environment to provide Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) for a critical sensor program in the Search, Track, Acquire, Radiate, Eliminate (STARE) Project Office within the Portfolio Acquisition Executive - Fires. You will serve as the lead ILS specialist for an Army passive sensor program that is critical to worldwide missions and homeland defense; applies knowledge of acquisition and logistics statutes, regulations, and policies applicable to the assigned program; develops and coordinates transportation activities in support of testing and rapid fielding requirements; provides acquisition logistics guidance to program leadership; and provides support to the STARE Product Support Manager (PSM) as required.

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Specialist that thrives in a fast-paced environment to provide Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) for a critical sensor program in the Search, Track, Acquire, Radiate, Eliminate (STARE) Project Office within the Portfolio Acquisition Executive - Fires. You will serve as the lead ILS specialist for an Army passive sensor program that is critical to worldwide missions and homeland defense; applies knowledge of acquisition and logistics statutes, regulations, and policies applicable to the assigned program; develops and coordinates transportation activities in support of testing and rapid fielding requirements; provides acquisition logistics guidance to program leadership; and provides support to the STARE Product Support Manager (PSM) as required.
Responsibilities
- Planning, coordinating, and executing comprehensive Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) strategies to accelerate the delivery of advanced capabilities to the warfighter
- Serve as the primary point of coordination between STARE, Army Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM), and prime contractors for global transportation and logistics support.
- Develop, coordinate, and refine Material Fielding Plans directly with gaining tactical units to ensure seamless equipment integration and minimal disruption to operational readiness.
- Provide hands-on support for test events, including the deployment, setup, and recovery of sensor systems in austere environments.
- Manage Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) reviews for multiple types of contracts to include Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) and Other Transaction Authority (OTA).
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual inventories for system hardware and sensitive item inventories with 100% accountability and document results within the Enterprise Logistics Management System (ELMS).
- Work in an Integrated Product Team (IPT) environment with the system prime contractor during Engineering and Manufacturing Development phase of the acquisition process.
- BA or BS degree
- 5 years of related experience
- Experience with the Army Acquisition process
- Some travel
- Must have an in-scope DoW Secret security clearance
- Experience with Army Air and Missile Defense architecture
- Experience with Army Air & Missile Defense radars
- Familiarity with Army logistics systems e.g., Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-Army); Army Enterprise System Integration Program (AESIP), Enterprise Logistics Management System (ELMS).
