Role Description This is a contract, on-site Travel Respiratory Therapist (RT) – Rehabilitation role based in Moline, IL. The Respiratory Therapist will provide respiratory care services to patients in a rehabilitation setting, including assessment, treatment planning, and delivery of therapy under the direction of a licensed provider. Daily responsibilities include performing cardiopulmonary assessments, administering prescribed respiratory treatments, managing oxygen and ventilatory support as appropriate, and monitoring patient responses to therapy. The role involves collaborating with an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team, documenting care in the medical record, and participating in patient and family education on respiratory health and equipment use. The therapist will follow established protocols, adhere to safety and infection control standards, and support quality improvement initiatives within the facility.

Qualifications
- Demonstrated proficiency in Cardiopulmonary assessment and monitoring to support safe and effective respiratory care.
- Strong foundation in Respiratory Therapy and Respiratory Care, including administration of treatments, use of respiratory equipment, and interpretation of clinical data.
- Experience or training in Neonatal Intensive Care or care of high-acuity patients is preferred, with the ability to adapt techniques to specialized populations.
- Working knowledge of Medicine as it relates to respiratory pathophysiology, pharmacology, and rehabilitation-focused treatment plans.
- Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) in applicable state(s) and graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
- BLS certification required; ACLS, PALS, or NRP certifications are an advantage depending on patient population.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary rehabilitation environment, with strong communication, documentation, and patient education skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to a travel contract role, including varying schedules, workflows, and facility protocols.
