This is a contract, on-site role for a Registered Nurse Emergency Department position located in Watertown, NY. The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality care to patients experiencing acute medical issues. Daily responsibilities include assessing patient conditions, administering medications and treatments, monitoring vital signs, collaborating with healthcare teams, documenting patient records accurately, and ensuring compliance with healthcare standards and protocols.
- Clinical skills including patient assessment, emergency interventions, and medication administration
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities in high-stress, fast-paced environments
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work closely with interdisciplinary teams
- Attention to detail and proficiency in maintaining accurate patient records
- Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
- Experience in emergency nursing or acute care is preferred
- Strong commitment to patient safety and advocacy
