What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Territory Executive - Medical Device - Chicagoland Area position at IntuiTap Medical, Inc.?
The Sales Territory Executive is responsible for identifying pilot sites and successfully launching pilots of the VerTouch device into the emergency medicine, neurology, and anesthesiology (potentially including obstetric and orthopedic) clinical settings. Activities undertaken include identifying and managing early adopters and KOLS, and maintaining communication with IntuiTap founders
to help assess early market adoption, barriers to entry, Value Analysis Committee processes and market pricing.
Responsibilities
- Identify and execute product evaluations in the hospital setting leading to commercial utilization
- Successfully navigate the purchasing cycle including the Value Analysis Committee
- Assess barriers to entry and participate in regular meetings with leadership to determine best approach to break down barriers.
- Guide initial cases, acting as an extension of the physician/nursing team, and share findings with leadership.
- Assist and develop and execute an initial sales strategy for the novel VerTouch device.
- Leverage existing networks to develop relationships with key stakeholders and all decision makers, including clinical advisors, hospital executives, professional societies, and value analysis committees to drive sales and adoption of the product.
- Identify new market opportunities, assess the competitive landscape, and provide recommendations for market expansion and product positioning.
- Stay current with industry trends, competitor activities, and clinical changes to inform strategic decision-making and optimize sales strategies.
- Participate in industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to promote company products and build strategic partnerships.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- Medical device sales experience (required)
- Hospital sales experience (required)
