Who You Are
We’re looking for detail-oriented tax professionals who meet the following qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience filing 30 individual 1040 tax returns using commercial tax software
- Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Passionate about helping clients understand tax complexities and maximize their returns
- Comfortable using video and audio tools to assist customers in a professional and friendly manner
- Must possess or obtain any necessary state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds as required
- A secure internet connection that meets Intuit security criteria
- Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, spread across three or more days
What You Will Do
As a Tax Associate, you will:
- Assist customers in completing their tax returns using TurboTax products
- Provide expert tax guidance, return preparation, and calculations
- Respond to product and software inquiries with professionalism and clarity
- Research and utilize government resources to ensure accurate tax assistance
- Maintain customer confidentiality while documenting interactions accurately
- Engage with customers via our state-of-the-art video communication platform
