Intuit's Assisted Commercialization organization is seeking a Senior Strategist to lead the growth and programming strategy for our in-store customer locations and Expert Centers. In this individual contributor role, you will be the strategic engine behind how our physical and expert-assisted channels attract, engage, and convert customers, defining what programs we bring to market, how we scale what works, and where we place our bets for growth.

You will develop the strategic frameworks that guide programming decisions, identify high-value growth opportunities across the store and Expert Center network, and architect the roadmap that connects individual activations to broader business outcomes. This role requires someone who thinks in systems, connecting customer insights, competitive dynamics, channel economics, and field realities into a cohesive growth strategy.

Reporting to the Manager of Omnichannel Business Strategy, you will collaborate closely with regional sales leaders, in-store operations, marketing, and technology teams. This is an ideal role for a strategic thinker who wants to own a meaningful piece of Intuit's omnichannel future and see their strategies drive real customer and business impact at national scale.


Responsibilities

  • Growth Strategy Development: Define the strategic direction for in-store and Expert Center growth, identifying the highest-impact customer segments, geographic opportunities, and channel plays. Build the business cases and strategic frameworks that guide where and how the organization invests in physical and expert-assisted channels.

  • Programming Strategy & Roadmap: Own the strategic programming roadmap for stores and Expert Centers. Determine which programs, campaigns, and activations to pursue based on customer needs, market dynamics, seasonal patterns, and business priorities. Ensure every program ladders up to a clear growth thesis.

  • Customer & Market Intelligence: Conduct deep analysis of customer behavior, competitive positioning, and market trends to inform strategic direction. Translate insights into actionable strategic recommendations that shape how Intuit shows up in physical and expert-assisted channels.

  • Referral & Demand Strategy: Develop the strategic framework for referral-driven growth at the store level, defining the value proposition, targeting approach, and channel mechanics that drive sustainable organic acquisition. Identify scalable referral models by studying high-performing locations and external best practices.

  • Test-and-Learn Strategy: Design the experimentation roadmap for new growth concepts. Define hypotheses, success criteria, and pilot structures that allow the organization to validate ideas efficiently before committing to national scale. Synthesize learnings into strategic recommendations.

  • Channel Economics & Optimization: Evaluate the performance and ROI of programs, locations, and channel investments. Identify where the organization is getting the best return, where there are untapped opportunities, and where resources should be reallocated. Bring a rigorous, economics-driven lens to growth planning.

  • Cross-Functional Strategic Partnership: Serve as a strategic thought partner to regional sales leaders, in-store operations, marketing, and technology teams. Bring the 'why' and 'where to play' perspective that helps operational teams focus their execution on the highest-impact priorities.

  • Strategic Communication & Influence: Develop compelling strategy narratives, frameworks, and presentations that align stakeholders and secure buy-in from senior leadership. Translate complex omnichannel dynamics into clear strategic storylines that drive decision-making.


Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • 5 years of experience in strategy, growth strategy, commercial strategy, or go-to-market strategy roles
  • Proven ability to develop strategic frameworks and translate them into actionable plans with measurable business outcomes
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, comfortable building business cases, sizing opportunities, and evaluating trade-offs
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, ability to craft strategy narratives that influence senior leaders and align cross-functional partners
  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently, manage ambiguity, and drive strategic clarity in fast-moving environments
  • Experience working cross-functionally with sales, operations, marketing, or product teams
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Strategy, Economics, Marketing, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background in financial services, tax, SaaS, or technology industries
  • Familiarity with omnichannel or multi-channel commercial models, including retail/in-store, contact center, and digital channels
  • Experience developing referral, demand generation, or customer acquisition strategies
  • Exposure to AI-powered customer experiences or technology-enabled service models
  • MBA or advanced degree in a relevant field
