Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Linux administrator with exceptional problem-solving skills to join our team at Introlligent Inc.
This individual will be responsible for deploying, supporting, and monitoring new and existing services, platforms, and application stacks. They will utilize their expertise in Python, Bash scripts, GO, REST APIs, and object-oriented programming to ensure the smooth operation of our systems.
The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Enterprise Linux (RHEL), understanding of AWS and Kubernetes concepts, and experience with automation and configuration management using tools such as Ansible, Puppet, and SALT.
In addition, they will possess superb communication skills, demonstrated through clear and concise communication, and a strong sense of customer service and integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deploy, support, and monitor new and existing services, platforms, and application stacks.
- Utilize expertise in Python, Bash scripts, GO, REST APIs, and object-oriented programming to ensure system operation.
- Develop and maintain scripts and automated processes for efficient system administration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues.
- Implement security protocols and best practices to protect company data.
Requirements:
- Strong sense of ownership, customer service, and integrity demonstrated through clear communication.
- Experience with deploying, supporting, and monitoring new and existing services, platforms, and application stacks.
- Proficiency with Python, Bash scripts, GO, REST APIs, and any object-oriented programming a must.
- Extensive knowledge with Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
- Understanding of AWS and Kubernetes concepts.
- Experience with automation and configuration management (Ansible, Puppet, SALT)
- 5 years of Linux administration and production support.
- Deep understanding of MySQL server administration or similar relational databases.
- Good understanding of standard networking protocols and components such as DNS, TCP/IP and load-balancing.
- Good understanding of basic security concepts and protocols - authentication, authorization, signing, encryption, SSL/TLS, SSH/SFTP, PKI, etc.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with CI/CD, unit testing, and version control systems (GIT).
- Knowledge of IPv6, DNS, DHCP is a plus.
- Experience working closely with global team.
- Experience in DevOps/SRE in production environment.
- Experience in AWS/GCP will be a plus.
