Graphic Design Lead

PAY RANGE: $60,000-$80,000 per year based upon experience.

THE HIRING COMPANY: Intrinsic Development is a full-service real estate development company specializing in upscale multifamily and commercial mixed-use developments. Our organization has developed more than 3.5 million square feet of projects, with an additional 300,000 square feet currently under construction. The Intrinsic Development team has successfully developed everything from hospitality venues and mixed-use developments to luxury apartment communities, hotels, medical clinics, office buildings, and restaurants across six Midwestern states.

We are excited to continue our expansion into Lee's Summit, Missouri, which serves as the home of our corporate headquarters and our newest 260 acre mixed-use development. Upon completion, Discovery Park will feature over 2,000 luxury apartment homes and more than 660,000 square feet of retail, office, entertainment, hospitality, and commercial space.

THE LEAD GRAPHIC DESIGN POSITION: We're looking for a talented and creative Lead Graphic Designer to serve as a key creative partner within our marketing team, supporting Intrinsic Development and its growing portfolio of brands. While this role is heavily focused on hands-on graphic design, it also plays an important role in supporting marketing strategy, brand development, and creative direction across multiple business units.

Our marketing department functions much like an in-house creative agency, partnering with multiple brands, properties, and departments throughout the organization. You'll collaborate closely with ownership, executive leadership, project teams, and internal stakeholders to translate business objectives into compelling creative solutions. Success in this role requires someone who enjoys collaboration, can confidently present ideas, thoughtfully incorporate feedback, and refine creative work based on evolving project goals. LEAD GRAPHIC DESIGNER RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the design and execution of creative assets across multiple brands, including digital, print, social media, websites, presentations, signage, and marketing collateral.
• Collaborate with ownership, executive leadership, project teams, and internal stakeholders to translate business objectives into compelling creative solutions.
• Present creative concepts, gather feedback from multiple stakeholders, and refine designs to ensure they align with project goals, brand standards, and business objectives.
• Help shape marketing campaigns, brand initiatives, and customer experiences by contributing creative ideas and design expertise throughout the creative process.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously from concept through production while maintaining quality, consistency, and on-time delivery.
• Coordinate with external vendors to produce high-quality printed materials, signage, promotional products, and other branded assets.

LEAD GRAPHIC DESIGNER QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3 years of professional graphic design experience with a strong portfolio showcasing branding and marketing work.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign); experience with Canva, photography, or video editing is a plus.
• Strong understanding of branding, visual communication, typography, and marketing principles.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to confidently present creative ideas, receive and incorporate feedback from multiple stakeholders, and adapt designs based on business needs while maintaining a positive, solutions-oriented approach.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across departments and effectively balance multiple projects and stakeholder perspectives.
