What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inventory Coordinator position at Intrex?
Location: Reston, VA (In person)
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8-hour shift
Intrex is seeking a fast-paced, detail-oriented Inventory Coordinator to support nationwide deployments of Rythmos, our innovative resident safety and wellness solution for senior living communities.
You’ll handle the preparation, provisioning, and shipment of technology and equipment that powers our installations — ensuring accuracy, speed, and quality every step of the way. The ideal candidate thrives in a deadline-driven environment, manages time exceptionally well, and enjoys hands-on technical work.
- Flash, provision, and configure hardware prior to deployment.
- Ensure devices are securely connected and mapped to the correct networks.
- Monitor device health and functionality to confirm proper operation before deployment.
- Perform quantity and quality checks on all outgoing hardware.
- Inspect returned equipment, diagnose issues, and determine next steps (repair, redeploy, or decommission).
- Prepare, pack, label, and ship devices, sensors, and related supplies.
- Track incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Maintain clear documentation of device status, quality checks, and completed tasks.
- Follow established workflows and help identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
- Support the development of SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) related to provisioning and hardware prep.
- Strong time management and ability to meet strict deadlines with quick turnaround.
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working with hardware and network-connected devices.
- Fast-paced, self-motivated, and reliable under pressure.
- Effective communicator and collaborative team player.
- Ability to lift and handle equipment as part of daily work.
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree or relevant technical experience preferred).
