Role Summary
The Project Manager (Market Readiness) leads the planning and development of fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) deployments. This role focuses on feasibility, estimating, design coordination, permitting, and construction readiness to ensure projects are fully prepared for successful execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead pre-construction planning for FTTH deployments across assigned markets
- Coordinate engineering and design to ensure complete, accurate, and constructible OSP designs
- Manage permitting strategy and approvals with local jurisdictions and utilities
- Support contractor and vendor selection and scope alignment
- Build and maintain project schedules and milestone tracking
- Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies prior to construction
- Ensure full construction readiness (designs, permits, materials, contractors)
- Lead project handoff to construction teams
- Provide regular updates to internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in telecommunications or utility infrastructure
- Experience in FTTH planning, permitting, and estimating preferred
- Strong knowledge of OSP construction methods (aerial and underground)
- Familiarity with municipal permitting and right-of-way coordination
- Strong financial, analytical, and project management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and mapping tools
- Valid driver’s license
