Job Description: Power Systems Engineer

Summary: IntraPack designs and manufactures energy storage systems along with data center infrastructure products. We’re currently searching for an ambitious Power Systems Engineer. As a Power Systems Engineer you will be working on everything from inside sales, technical support and product development. Our Power Systems Engineer will work closely with customers assisting with questions and the application of the energy storage systems being purchased by the customer. You would also provide technical support to the electrical assembly departments and new product engineering. The Technical Sales Specialist must be able to prioritize and multi-task on multiple projects.
Responsibilities
Primary:
· Understand customer needs and requirements to offer the best product or service solution.
· Respond to sales inquiries thoroughly and promptly by preparing and presenting sales quotes.
· Become proficient in all IntraPack products and services and clearly convey product value to customers.
· Provide technical support to customers and Electrical Assembly Department.
· Help identify, engage, and build relationships with customer decision makers.
· Monitor competitive products.
· Communicate with the Management and Engineering to ensure product meets customer specifications
· Assist Engineering Department in reviewing electrical drawings/documents.
· Create electrical drawings in AutoCAD.
· Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
· 3 to 7 years of technical experience either as technician or sales support in DC power systems or similar technical fields.
· Strong understanding DC Power systems or battery backup systems and/or uninterruptible power supplies.
· AutoCAD experience or the ability to learn and be proficient in AutoCAD.
· Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
· Superior customer service skills .
· Sales and/or project management experience.
· Highly motivated self-starter and team-player with the ability to be flexible to changing customer needs.
· Available for travel up to 25%.
· US Work Authorization.
