Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Orlando, FL, for a Low Voltage Technician. The technician will install, maintain, and troubleshoot low voltage systems, including copper and fiber optic cabling, wireless access points, CCTV equipment, and VoIP systems. Responsibilities will also include deploying and repairing electrical equipment, working with inside and outside plant cabling, and ensuring systems meet necessary certifications and standards. The technician will collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety regulations and high-quality workmanship.
Qualifications
- Experience in Electrical Maintenance, working with Electricity, and handling Electrical Equipment
- Proficiency in Troubleshooting and diagnosing technical issues related to low voltage systems
- Background in Electrical Engineering and knowledge of cabling standards
- Familiarity with structured cabling installation for copper and fiber optic systems
- Strong understanding of safety standards and regulations; zero prior OSHA violations preferred
- BICSI certification or similar technical training is a plus
- Ability to work on-site, ensuring timely project completion and adherence to quality standards
- Willingness to collaborate in a team-oriented environment
