Key Responsibilities
- Interpret routine, ambulatory, continuous, and long-term video EEG studies for pediatric patients
- Identify and classify epileptiform abnormalities, seizures, encephalopathies, and other neurologic patterns
- Provide timely, accurate, and clinically actionable EEG reports
- Collaborate with neurologists, intensivists, technologists, and care teams regarding urgent or complex findings
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and all applicable clinical documentation standards
- Support coverage in 24 hour shift increments, minimum of 5 per month
QualificationsRequired
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Board Certified in Neurology with Special Qualification in Child Neurology
- Fellowship training in Epilepsy
- Active unrestricted medical license in at least one U.S. state; willingness to obtain additional licenses
- Extensive experience interpreting pediatric EEGs
- Proficiency with neonatal, ICU, and ambulatory EEG studies
- Strong written communication and documentation skills
