Intralox, L.L.C. North America has an opening for a Product Specialist for the ThermoDrive product line. The qualified individual will be responsible for driving strategic sales, managing a select group of key accounts, working closely with and training industry sales representatives. This individual will service the North America market, ideally based within the region, and report to the ThermoDrive Sales Manager.

The ThermoDrive product line serves a vital purpose beyond technical specifications: safeguarding the global food supply chain. While proven to reduce downtime and extend belt life, the technology’s ability to improve hygienic design and sanitation standards directly contributes to the safety and quality of meals consumed in homes every day. The successful candidate will champion a solution that not only drives business results but also protects the consumer.

This position requires more than technical proficiency; a specific mindset is essential. While basic technical and sales knowledge are prerequisites, the successful candidate must demonstrate exceptional drive, motivation, and a deep capacity for introspection. Possessing high self-awareness and the ability to communicate with extreme clarity, the ideal candidate actively seeks out challenges to fuel business and personal growth.

Responsibilities

  • Drive strategy, focus sales of new products and services related to ThermoDrive.
  • Work within the proven Intralox team selling model to support the industry teams, account teams and regional customer needs.
  • Supports strategic sales at targeted key accounts (EU & OEM)
  • Effectively link ThermoDrive technical advantages with commercial messages.
  • Identify and help develop innovative new applications and products (In collaboration with the industry teams, capture, own and drive N.A. new product needs)
  • Manages select account relationships with large ThermoDrive potential.
  • Leads ThermoDrive sales training for Account Managers across food segments (both in group and one-on-one settings)
  • Understand the food industry and markets into which Intralox sells ThermoDrive in order to identify and qualify best opportunities.
  • Share product updates and best practices within the assigned industry team.

Requirements

  • High self-awareness is critical. The candidate must be capable of understanding personal strengths and weaknesses to maximize professional development.
  • Exceptional clarity in both written and verbal communication is mandatory. The ability to communicate effectively across all levels, from the shop floor to the boardroom, is expected.
  • A self-managed, proactive approach is required. The candidate must be willing to identify challenges and work diligently to achieve ambitious goals.
  • A natural curiosity and a continuous learning mindset are essential. The candidate must demonstrate a genuine interest in acquiring new knowledge and a drive to constantly improve personal and professional capabilities.
  • 3 years of proven sales experience and sales support is preferred.
  • Good listening and questioning skills to understand needs and requirements.
  • Basic technical knowledge of conveyance systems or flat belt products is beneficial, though comprehensive training is provided.
  • Ability to travel to customer sites is required (estimated 70% ).
