Responsibilities
- Keeping production molds in a ready to run state.
- Troubleshooting and predicting mechanical and performance issues in our molds.
- Inspecting and analyzing critical components both old and new for defects.
- Effective communication (verbal and written)
- Strong attention to detail.
- Must be able to perform the essential job requirements identified in the Functional Job Description for this position, including the ability to lift 50 pounds.
- It is essential that this position be performed at the facility.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- High level of motivation and self-management.
- Minimum of (3) years of hands-on technical experience with a proven work history.
- Pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical knowledge.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Familiarity with reading blue prints and schematics.
- Required to work a 12 hour day or night shift. (3on/2off/2on/3off)
- Ability to be on call when required.
Desired Qualifications
- Two or more years of community college/trade school.
- Previous manufacturing, injection molding or plastics experience.
- Prior diagnostic and troubleshooting experience in areas such as: industrial ac, elevators, escalators, diesel mechanics, HVAC and/or automated manufacturing equipment.
