Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain cost control systems, budgets, and schedules for complex programs.
Prepare and analyze financial reports, forecasts, variance analyses, and funding profiles.
Integrate program cost and scheduled activities to provide accurate, actionable reporting.
Support planning, forecasting, and long-term strategic program performance.
Provide recommendations to management for improved profitability and efficiency.
Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Design, track, and report on performance metrics.
Incorporate contractual changes into program baselines and cost systems.
Qualifications
Program Cost Schedule Control Analyst:
6 years of finance experience in lieu of degree OR
Bachelor’s degree 2 years OR
Master’s degree 0 years.
Principal Program Cost Schedule Control Analyst:
9 years of finance experience in lieu of degree OR
Bachelor’s degree 5 years OR
Master’s degree 3 years.
Required Skills:
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Independent, proactive contributor who drives continuous improvement.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Must be able to work onsite in Elkton, MD (hybrid flexibility available).
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS).
Prior use of Deltek CostPoint, Cobra, OpenPlan, or PM Compass.
Aerospace or Department of Defense (DoD) experience.
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
