Project Portfolio Manager in Holmdel, NJ Pay rate is $75/hr C2C Responsibilities • Orchestrate portfolio planning & delivery across business, finance and technology leadership providing data-driven insights for prioritization. • Manage portfolio delivery roadmap aligned to strategic objectives ensuring outcomes are implemented within schedule, financials, and scope. • Manage portfolio spending, forecasting expenses, progress measurement and audit compliance to Portfolio governance. • Facilitate business case creation and changes in accordance with Enterprise Portfolio management process including capacity assessment & prioritization impacts. • Foster Operational Excellence in portfolio intake through delivery process focusing on continually improving efficiency, driving consistency, and achieving business objectives. • Manage expectations of and influence several diverse stakeholders, through effective communication to accomplish business strategic objectives through portfolio delivery. • Provide guidance to delivery teams on the use and application of portfolio management tools in alignment with enterprise portfolio management guidelines. Qualifications: • A Master’s Degree or equivalent work experience. • A minimum of ten years of program and portfolio management. • A minimum of five years recent experience leading programs through Agile / SAFe / Iterative / Hybrid methodologies. • Demonstrated an understanding of business line initiatives, and highly specialized working knowledge of program or project management methodologies (e.g., SAFe, agile, waterfall, etc.) and be comfortable working in a complex matrix environment. • Demonstrated experience successfully managing large transformational programs with multiple business and technology stakeholders. • Highly proficient using ServiceNow SPM, JIRA, SharePoint, and other software for project and task management. • Process Improvement methodology experience preferred (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, Kaizen, SAFe, etc.). • An ability to articulate and clearly communicate complex problems and solutions in a simple and logical manner. • Excellent problem-solving analytical capabilities with strong attention to detail. • Domain experience in insurance and / or financial industries.
