here are some of the details: key responsibilities
• act as the primary servicenow developer and administrator, ensuring the platform is stable, scalable, and aligned with business requirements.
• configure and enhance itsm modules including incident, problem, change, request, knowledge, cmdb, and service catalog.
• develop and maintain forms, fields, client scripts, ui policies, ui actions, flow designer workflows, catalog items, and automation rules.
• manage user roles, groups, acls, and security configurations to support controlled and compliant access.
• build and maintain service catalog experiences, including request fulfillment workflows and supporting logic.
• maintain and improve the cmdb by validating relationships, normalizing data, and supporting discovery or integration activities.
• support platform upgrades by reviewing skipped records, performing regression testing, and validating functionality post-release.
• provide troubleshooting support for issues related to scripts, workflows, integrations, and platform behavior.
• create dashboards, reports, and performance analytics indicators to support operational visibility.
• partner with stakeholders to collect requirements and translate them into scalable configuration or development solutions.
• assist with and build lightweight integrations using rest/soap apis, testing endpoints, data transformations, and connection configurations. required qualifications
• solid understanding of itsm processes and how they are implemented within servicenow.
• hands-on development/configuration experience with core itsm modules and service catalog components.
• experience writing or modifying client scripts, business rules, ui policies, and flow designer logic.
• strong understanding of platform security, including acls, roles, and permission models.
• working knowledge of cmdb structures, relationships, and best practices for data accuracy.
• familiarity with api integrations using rest/soap, including payload testing and troubleshooting.
• strong problem solving skills with the ability to diagnose platform issues and recommend scalable solutions.
