Job Description
- LabVIEW 2024/2025 – MUST
- FlexLogger (used for data acquisition with National Instruments (NI) hardware) – MUST
- They use FlexLogger to connect to NI DAQ equipment and can begin recording within minutes.
- Building custom LabVIEW standalone equipment.
- Developing Object-Oriented LabVIEW (OO-LV) architectures.
- Creating FlexLogger plugins.
- Developing hardware drivers to integrate various lab devices.
- To communicate with NI equipment, a custom LabVIEW-based plugin must be created each time.
- Large number of plugins/drivers required for various standalone test setups.
- Open question on future direction: continue with LabVIEW, or pivot to alternatives like REVEL or Nominal.
