Role Description
This is an on-site, part-time role based in Austin, TX, for a Women's Apparel - Fit Technician / Technical Design position. The role involves sending fit comments to factories, maintaining and ensuring accurate specifications, and conducting fittings to improve garment fit and performance.
Bonus: Create techpacks and spec sheets, and have experience with design pass offs with designers. Designer will provide technical flats.
You will work alongside the designer during fittings and also design pass offs.
Rate: $40-$60 per hour, based on experience
Qualifications
- 5 years experience in fitting womenswear.
- Ability to send fit comments to factories and update spec sheets.
- Ability for final grading approval.
- Must be able to work in person at least for fittings in Austin,TX.
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Engineering, or related field is a plus
Salary : $40 - $60
