What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Development Manager (Medical) position at INTERVENTIONAL SPINE AND PAIN INSTITUTE?
Interventional Spine and Pain Institute is an established and rapidly growing integrated healthcare organization with multi-site Interventional Pain Management clinics throughout the Space and Treasure Coasts (Viera, Palm Bay and Vero Beach). We are seeking a Business Development (Marketing) Manager who is experienced, motivated and able to perform responsibilities of the role at a high level and in a fast-paced environment. Territory will cover from Fort Pierce through Viera, and surrounding vicinity (10-mile radius) to ensure coverage of our Vero Beach, Palm Bay and Suntree Viera offices. Chosen candidate will be responsible for representing the company in the medical community, general-public events, health fairs, therapy awareness events, conferences and any other applicable channels or opportunities that involve display of company values, with a main focus on building and maintaining strong referral relationships with medical and attorney offices (physicians, providers, referral coordinators, attorneys, paralegals, legal assistants, etc). We seek dynamic and hard-working employees who take a lead in maximizing their strengths to support our business objectives.
Requirements:
· Spend the majority of time in the field conducting daily in person visits to 20 referral sources including physician offices (heavy emphasis) and legal practices - always seeking opportunities to increase referrals via new and existing referring providers, specialties and attorneys
· Plan, coordinate, and attend breakfasts, lunches and educational events with referral partners
· Collaborate with internal employed providers/physicians to deliver service-based education to referring offices
· Maintain and grow relationships with medical providers, attorneys and vendors, with the goal of increasing new patient referrals
· Achieving quantifiable targets - fulfilling daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly objectives
· Strong computer proficiency with the ability to track outreach activities, manage follow ups and stay organized with route calls
· Creating territory forecasts and understands route management
· Possess critical thinking with the ability to analyze data and identify trends
· Must understand relationship marketing and be a team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
· Develop and maintain a strong social media presence across multiple platforms
· Maintain collateral accuracy, ordering and inventory levels
· Ability to self motivate, plan ahead, organize and manage multiple priorities with limited direction
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
· 1 year of heavy medical sales experience in marketing
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Self-motivated and capable of working independently in the field
Experience:
· Required: 2 years in healthcare marketing, medical sales, managing a territory and physician outreach, including the understanding of medical office logistics and workflows
· Preferred: Background in pain management, orthopedics, or physical medicine is a plus but not required
· Preferred: Demonstrated experience in the Personal Injury space, working with attorneys.
Salary : $53,515 - $64,448
