Responsibilities
- Greet and assist clients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Answer phone calls, directing calls to the appropriate personnel.
- Schedule patient appointments.
- check in/out patients.
- Maintain an organized front desk area, ensuring all materials are stocked and accessible.
- Faxing records to outside offices
- Scanning documents into patients charts
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure excellent patient care.
Skills
- High School diploma
- Computer literate
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Solid understanding of phone etiquette and customer support principles.
- Familiarity with office management practices and clerical experience is advantageous.
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with physicians and staff in a high-volume setting
