About This Opportunity
Interventional Neuro Associates (INA) is at the forefront of acute stroke intervention, providing time-sensitive, life-saving care to patients experiencing neurological emergencies. As we expand our coverage, we're looking for a highly motivated provider who thrives in dynamic, high-stakes healthcare environments.
You will be rotating between covering several of our affiliated hospitals alongside a team of other APPs and physicians.
Territory Coverage: Specific site assignments are determined based on a combination of practice needs and provider location. We will review geographic preferences during the interview process to ensure logical and efficient placement.
NJ Sites: Jersey City, Hoboken, Bayonne, Secaucus, Newark, Passaic, Denville, Dover

What We're Looking For
- Essential Requirements:
- Current NP/PA licenses and certifications
- Neurology or neurosurgery experience is highly preferred. Candidates from other acute care specialties (ICU, emergency medicine) will be considered
- Proficiency with modern healthcare technology, including mobile devices, specialized medical apps, and EMR systems
- Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities
- Strong communication skills for patient care and team coordination
- Ability to excel both independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Comfort working in fast-paced, emergency-driven environments
Clinical Responsibilities:
Inpatient stroke care: Round on stroke patients
Emergency response: Participate in stroke code activations and time-critical interventions
Procedure coordination: Schedule and facilitate inpatient neurointerventional procedures
Thrombectomy support: Help expedite life-saving clot removal procedures
Patient assessment: Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop treatment plans alongside attending physicians
Schedule & Logistics:
- One weekend per month
- Full-time position
- Ability to drive between assigned hospital sites
