What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk & Patient Experience Coordinator position at Intervene.MD?
INTERVENEMD · MT. PLEASANT, SC
Front Desk & Patient Experience Coordinator
Full-time | On-site · Mt. Pleasant, SC | Compensation: Based on experience
ABOUT THE ROLE
InterveneMD is a rapidly growing, fully cash-based longevity and regenerative medicine practice in Mt. Pleasant, SC. We exist to help high performers overcome the brain fog, pain, poor sleep, and low energy that holds them back from showing up fully at work, at home, and everywhere in between.
As we grow, we're elevating our current front desk team into bigger roles: one is stepping into a sales/closing position, another is taking the reins of our CRM, and a third is being promoted to Front Desk Manager. That opens up a seat for someone new to own the first and last impression every patient has of InterveneMD.
This is not a clinical role, and no medical background is required. What we need is someone with an obsession for making people feel taken care of — someone who treats hospitality as a craft, not a checklist.
THIS ROLE IS NOT FOR YOU IF...
We'd rather be honest upfront than waste your time or ours. Please stop reading here if any of the following sounds like you:
- You've stopped being curious. You want a job where you learn the basics once and coast — the idea of continually getting better at your craft feels like a burden, not a privilege.
- You're coasting. You want a predictable, low-accountability role where showing up is enough. Grit, excellence, and proactivity aren't words you'd use to describe yourself on your best day.
- You're indifferent to how people feel. Making someone's day — turning a stressed, tired patient into someone who feels genuinely cared for — doesn't light you up. It's just a job.
- You resist change. New systems, evolving processes, and an entrepreneurial pace feel threatening rather than exciting.
- Hospitality feels like extra effort. Warmth, attentiveness, and going above and beyond for people you just met isn't instinctive to you — it feels performative or unnecessary.
- You're looking for an easy stepping stone. If you're not fully invested in being excellent at this role — not just passing through — this isn't the right seat for you.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Be the first and last face every patient sees — set the tone for their entire visit
- Own scheduling, check-in, check-out, and day-to-day phone and email communication
- Anticipate needs before patients have to ask — water, warmth, a kind word, a smooth handoff
- Manage cash-pay transactions and patient accounts with accuracy and care
- Keep the front of house running smoothly alongside our Front Desk Manager
- Learn our CRM and scheduling systems quickly and use them like a pro
- Represent InterveneMD's brand and values in every interaction, on the phone or in person
WHAT YOU BRING
- No medical experience required — we'll train you on everything clinical
- A proven track record in hospitality, high-end retail, concierge, restaurants, or another service industry where you made people feel like VIPs
- Genuine warmth and high energy — people remember how you made them feel
- Sharp attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple things at once without dropping the ball
- Comfort learning new software and systems quickly
- A polished, professional presence and a reliable, show-up-every-day work ethic

1. Email your application to jpierce@intervenemd.com with the subject line: “I’m Ready to Intervene” — applications without this exact subject line will not be reviewed.
2. Attach your resume and a cover letter. Your cover letter should tell us who you are — not just what you've done, but why hospitality matters to you.
3. Answer these two questions in the body of your email:
a) What does unreasonable hospitality mean to you in a customer-facing setting?
b) Describe a time you turned a frustrated or unhappy customer into a loyal one.
