IBH Addiction Recovery, founded in 1970, is a highly effective nonprofit organization and leading provider of drug and alcohol addiction treatment in Summit County. We provide evidence-based services including Residential Treatment, Day Treatment, Outpatient Programs, Aftercare support, and Recovery Housing, complemented by spiritual guidance, all intended to offer persons with alcohol and drug addiction, including those with a co-occurring mental health disorder, the opportunity to restore hope and gain skills for a lifetime of sobriety.

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse to help us meet the individualized needs of people in recovery and uphold those values.
Job Summary:
Provides general nursing care to patients in Health Services Department by performing the following duties:
Essential Job Duties:
- Assesses and evaluates patient health care data collected through interviews, observation, record review, and peer/team input in order to use sound clinical judgment in the treatment planning process.
- Analyzes assessment data to determine a nursing diagnosis & to formulate the basis of nursing care.
- Identifies expected outcomes of care/treatment planning, individualized to the client, with the ultimate goal of influencing and improving the client's overall health status.
- Implements prescribed interventions including medication-assisted treatment (MAT), if assigned by Health Service Director.
- Works within a multi-disciplinary team to coordinate and/or to deliver services as prescribed, to communicate client progress and status, to manage client crises, and to actively participate in the day-to-day operations and functioning of the team.
- Evaluates client progress in attaining expected outcomes in an on-going manner, modifying the treatment plan as indicated to reflect changes in status, needs, goals, etc.
- Demonstrates knowledge of current issues and best practices of intervention and support strategies related to alcohol and drug addiction including those with a co-occurring mental health disorder.
- Meets Agency and team standards for the timely and accurate completion and submission of documentation associated with the maintenance of client charts and in accordance with OHMAS and CARF regulations.
- Treats clients with dignity and respect, accepting their values and lifestyles, and maintaining their confidentiality in accordance with Agency policy, OHMAS, CFR-42, and all other legal requirements.
- Conducts client exit interviews which summaries Health Services related discharge instructions and planning.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Educational/Experience Requirements
- Minimum education: Associate's degree
- Must be a Registered Nurse with at least one or more years of experience
- Experience with Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder treatment preferred
- Strong computer skills to include Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook Email)
- Previous electronic health record experience

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, and general hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, typically 7:30 am to 4:00 pm but hours are subject to change. Hours include on-call rotation as well.
Work Environment
This job operates in a healthcare setting. This role requires regular walking to various locations within the agency so as the employee is occasionally exposed to outdoor weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
