Position OverviewWe are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our front desk team. This overnight position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working independently in a quiet environment, ensuring our guests receive exceptional service during nighttime hours.Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Services:Provide courteous check-in and check-out services for late-arriving and early-departing guestsHandle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests with professionalismAssist with room assignments and upgrades when availableMonitor building security and guest safety throughout the nightRespond to emergencies and coordinate with appropriate personnelSecurity patrolAudit & Financial Duties:Complete daily audit procedures and reconcile all front desk transactionsBalance cash drawers and prepare deposit summariesRun and review daily revenue reportsVerify room rates, taxes, and posting accuracyProcess credit card batches and resolve payment discrepanciesPrepare morning reports for management reviewAdministrative Tasks:Update guest folios and resolve billing questionsProcess group reservations and rooming listsMaintain accurate guest registration recordsHandle phone calls and take messages for other departmentsMonitor and respond to online reviews and reservation platformsProperty Management:Conduct security walks of the property perimeter and common areasMonitor surveillance systems and report any unusual activityCoordinate with housekeeping for late check-outs and early arrivalsEnsure lobby and front desk areas remain clean and presentableAssist with maintenance issues and emergency repairsRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentPrevious hotel or customer service experience preferredStrong attention to detail and accuracy with numbersExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionProficiency with computers and hotel management softwareMust be able to lift up to 25 pounds occasionallyReliable transportation for the overnight shiftPreferred QualificationsExperience with Cloudbeds or similar property management systemsPrevious night audit or accounting experienceBilingual capabilities (Spanish/English)CPR/First Aid certification
