The Sales Specialist is responsible for performing various sales duties and will be considered a stepping-stone to an outside sales position.
Salary & Benefits Information
The base wage or salary range for this position is $22 - $26 per hour. Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons. - May provide marketing support for webinars, lunch and learns, open houses, technical seminars, etc.
- Perform other work as required.
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:
- HS Diploma or GED equivalent
- 1 year of prior relevant experience and/or training (ie. administrative, sales, customer services, or technical support)
- Excellent Customer service and communication skills in both verbal and written format
- Excellent attention to detail, prioritization, organization, and time management skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with shifting priorities
- MS Office proficiency, including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Model Intertek’s 10X Energies at all times within the work place, practicing business the right way
- Be aware of, and adhere to, safety practices and policies to ensure your own safety, as well as the safety of others who may be affected by your actions at work
- Must be customer focused and quality driven
- Ability to travel as business needs dictate
- Associate’s degree (Business Administration or relevant technical field)
- Experience working with a CRM tool (MS Dynamics, Sales Force, etc.)
- Technical writing skills/experience
- Experience working in a B2B sales environment
- Prior relevant sales experience, education or training
- Experience with CRM tools (MS Dynamics / Sales Force / other)
