The Logistics Specialist supports day-to-day operations at our third-party warehouse location, ensuring the accurate and timely fulfillment of shipments and maintaining the integrity of logistics processes.
Reporting to the Logistics Supervisor, this role assists with managing warehouse operations, handles shipping documentation, and acts as the point person when the Supervisor is on PTO or otherwise unavailable.

Job Overview
The Logistics Specialist supports day-to-day operations at our third-party warehouse location, ensuring the accurate and timely fulfillment of shipments and maintaining the integrity of logistics processes.
Reporting to the Logistics Supervisor, this role assists with managing warehouse operations, handles shipping documentation, and acts as the point person when the Supervisor is on PTO or otherwise unavailable.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate daily with third-party logistics (3PL) staff to coordinate and oversee order fulfillment, shipping, and receiving activities.
- Track incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Monitor inventory levels and reconcile discrepancies in collaboration with the 3PL team.
- Assist with documentation, including shipping manifests, inventory logs, and compliance-related records.
- Communicate with internal teams (customer service, production, quality) to resolve shipment or inventory issues.
- Prepare reports and updates for the Logistics Supervisor and senior management as requested.
- Provide coverage and continuity during the Logistics Supervisor’s PTO or absences.
- Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement or increased efficiency.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher inlogistics, supply chain, or related field preferred.
- 2–4 years of experience in logistics, warehouse operations, or inventory control.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration with both internal and external partners.
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently.
- Familiarity with logistics software systems and shipping platforms.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); experience with Sage/Mas90 a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Warehouse environment; must adhere to safety and hygiene regulations (e.g., closed-toe shoes, smock/hairnet in designated areas).
