Responsibilities
- Estimate Preparation: Review and analyze bid specifications, bid drawings, and other documents to prepare detailed estimates.
- Client and Vendor Collaboration: Consult with clients and vendors to gather information necessary for accurate estimate preparation.
- Scope of Work Development: Create comprehensive scope of work for proposal documents.
- Project Cost Estimation: Utilize pricing tools to build complete estimates of project costs.
- Internal Communication: Maintain effective communication and collaboration with internal team members concerning estimates.
- Ongoing Tasks: Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Educational Background: Pursuing a Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Instrumentation, SCADA, PLC/HMI, Mechatronics, Business, Finance, Construction Management, or a related technical field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, knowledge of industrial process automation equipment and systems, and understanding of electrical systems.
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Effective Communication: Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- CAD Drawing and P&ID Reading: Ability to read CAD drawings and P&IDs.
- Relationship Building: Demonstrate excellent relationship-building skills.
- Sound Judgement and Prioritization: Possess sound judgement skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize work effectively.
Travel
