Summary/ObjectiveThe Window Inside Sales Representative assists customers in selecting the right product for their project. The representative cultivates excellent working relationships with existing customers and while developing and adding new clients to his/her book of business. This role promotes the products we sell, while delivering excellent customer service to our customers which includes homeowners, builders, contractors, and architects, among others. This role plays an important part in the success of our company and as such, requires excellent closing skills.Essential Job Functions
- Assist customers find the right product that best suits their needs.
- Works with architects, designers, and builders to source the right product for their projects and provide them with timely quotes.
- Closes a sale in a timely fashion while maintaining a high profit margin and providing excellent customer service.
- Assist other team members with quotes and sourcing of products.
- Secures window orders and processes them correctly.
- Ensure that necessary changes or corrections are submitted in a timely fashion.
- Negotiates window vendor terms, pricing, and delivery.
- Places window orders from approved vendors and maintain accurate records.
- Looks for opportunities to negotiate favorable purchasing terms.
- Arranges for return and credit of defective product.
- Assist other associates with questions on products and orders.
- Adheres to company policies, processes, and procedures.

Qualifications & Competencies
Education & Experience:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Minimum of four years of experience or demonstrated knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the above.
- Technical and computer skills
- Basic mathematical and measurement skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprint measurements.
- Experience with popular window brands including Anderson and Marvin.
Skills, Licensing & Certifications:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Proactive planning and time management skills required.
- Keen attention to details
- Ability to learn new systems and concepts quickly.
- Product knowledge and relationship-building skills.
- Working knowledge of construction industry with window product knowledge and home building requirements.
Working Conditions & Physical Demands
- Typical office environment, occasionally walking.
- Prolonged sitting (90% of the time).
- Ability to stare at a monitor for extended periods of time.
Position Type and Expected Hours
· Full-time position.
· Typical schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and some Saturdays, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
· Travel: Occasional.
