What are the responsibilities and job description for the Yard Manager position at Interstate Wholesale Fence?
Amendola Industries Inc., a leading wholesale fence manufacturer, is seeking a Yard Manager during a time of immense growth. The Yard Manager will work to maximize efficiency, product protection, and safe handling/loading all the way through to our customers. Continuous process improvement is the goal.
Duties:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the yard ensuring efficient organization and movement of material, best practices utilized for loading and safety, and administrative documents are processed properly.
- Implement material management strategies to optimize inventory levels and minimize waste.
- Collaborate with multi-property distribution and yard teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and supplies.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role within a warehouse, yard or logistics environment.
- Strong knowledge of yard management processes and procedures.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
