Interstate Truck and Trailer Repair (ITTR) is a local, family-owned and operated company seeking a highly skilled Master Diesel Technician to join our growing team.

Responsibilities:
- Diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical and electronic problems
- Diagnostic abilities specifically for Cummins engines, Detroit engines, Paccar engines, Volvo Mach engines, and other makes and models
- Ability to work on Farm equipment, Cranes, Forklifts, Buses, and be mobile when needed
- Perform general and detailed repairs and installations of all trucks, engines, and components
- Provide mentorship, instruction, and advice to other technicians
- Operate diagnostic test equipment proficiently
- Complete all required shift documentation and report problems and concerns to the Shop Manager
- Attend training as prescribed by management to maintain proficiency in his/her job description
- Use ITTR equipment and resources safely and proficiently
- Follow established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Driver's License (CDL preferred) (for test driving purposes)
- 5 years of hands-on experience working with diesel engines and related systems
- Advanced knowledge of diesel and fuel engine maintenance & repair
- ASE Certification in PM, brakes, Electrical, and /or ASE Master Mechanic preferred
- Knowledgeable in using service software.
