Incredible, dynamic opportunity for the right Occupational Therapist Assistant. Interstate Therapy Solutions is seeking a Occupational Therapist Assistant that strives to be well rounded in all settings, not just 1. This position will allow you to get extensive inpatient, ARU, acute and outpatient experience. Locations worked will be fully dependent on need and designated by Interstate’s leadership team. Locations of hospitals involved with this position are in the Antelope Valley, Valencia & Van Nuys.
You will have the opportunity to work interdisciplinary with PT’s, SLP’s, RN’s and more, while conducting true patient care. Great opportunity to constantly grow and learn. We realize you might not be trained in all 4 of these settings, but that’s ok. We are happy to invest the training in the right candidate.

Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant Responsibilities:
- Assist the Occupational Therapist in assessing patients' conditions and needs.
- Implement therapeutic exercises and interventions based on treatment plans.
- Monitor and document patients' progress and response to treatments.
- Collaborate closely with the therapy team to ensure comprehensive care.
- Educate patients on proper techniques for exercises and functional activities.

Pay: $40 - $45 per hour
Essential Functions of the Occupational Therapist Assistant Role:
- Assist in evaluation of client’s daily living skills and capacities to determine extent of abilities and
- limitations
- Assist in planning and implementing educational, vocational, and recreational programs and activities established by registered Occupational Therapist, designed to restore, reinforce, and enhance task performances, diminish or correct pathology, and to promote and maintain health and self-sufficiency
- Communicate with staff and other health team members, to exchange, discuss, and evaluate patient information for planning, modifying, and coordinating treatment programs
Experience and Skills Required for Occupational Therapist Assistant Position:
- Associate’s degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year Occupational Therapist Assistant accredited college or technical school required
