We are seeking a detail-oriented Mechanical Designer to create, develop, and improve mechanical systems and components. The ideal candidate will work closely with engineers and cross-functional teams to produce accurate designs, technical drawings, and documentation for manufacturing and product development.
- Develop 2D and 3D designs using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Inventor)
- Create detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and bill of materials (BOM)
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers to refine concepts and ensure design feasibility
- Perform design calculations and tolerance analysis
- Modify and improve existing designs based on testing and feedback
- Ensure designs meet industry standards, safety regulations, and project requirements
- Support prototyping, testing, and manufacturing processes
- Maintain proper documentation and version control of design files
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or a related field
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar)
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and manufacturing processes
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Pay: $56,506.96 - $68,051.40 per year
