What are the responsibilities and job description for the Night shift Production Welder position at Interstate Sheet Metal?
Our company is looking to hire a Welder/Fabricator.
Monday Thru Thursday, 7:30PM-6:00AM.
- Mig/Tig welding
- Create quality welds.
- Read and interpret prints and technical drawings
- Perform welding and fabrication duties according to prints and specifications
- Inspect welds for accuracy.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Change wire, and welding, as needed.
- Change gas tanks, as needed.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a welder or similar role
- Ability to read and interpret prints and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Job Type: Full-time
