Job Summary:

The Equipment Supervisor is responsible for and supervises the installation, maintenance, care and efficient operation of all equipment used by the organization.

Supervisor Responsibilities:

• Hires and trains qualified candidates for Equipment Technician positions.
• Oversees the day-to-day workflow, scheduling and assignments of the Equipment department.
• Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive. including recommendations for pay increases, if appropriate.

Qualifications

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Inspects and performs maintenance on assigned equipment.
• Ensures equipment is ready for installation and delivery.
• Maintains files of inspections, service agreements and contracts for equipment.
• Maintains the inventory, storage and distribution of equipment.
• Collaborates with other appropriate management on recommendations for purchase of new equipment.
• Conducts periodic equipment inventory counts.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of or ability to quickly learn the equipment to be maintained and/or installed.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification in a trade or maintenance related field preferred.
• Prior experience in trade, maintenance, handyman preferred.
• At least 2 years of supervisor experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to assist with equipment repairs/installation as needed.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.

Salary : $70,000 - $85,000
