Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, move, and organize inventory throughout the warehouse.
- Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders using inventory management software and ERP systems such as AS400 or MRP systems.
- Accurately document all shipping and receiving activities through data entry into warehouse management systems and inventory management software.
- Prepare items for shipment by packing, labeling, and ensuring compliance with trade regulations and shipping logistics standards.
- Conduct regular inventory counts, stock replenishment, and cycle counts to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Collaborate with warehouse distribution teams to coordinate order picking, packing, and order fulfillment processes efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized work environment by adhering to safety protocols and conducting routine equipment inspections.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, ERP systems like AS400 or MRP platforms.
- Strong understanding of shipping logistics, trade compliance, international trade regulations, and order fulfillment procedures.
- Basic math skills for calculating weights, measurements, and quantities accurately.
- Excellent data entry skills combined with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for reporting purposes.
- Prior experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers is highly preferred.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while maintaining high safety standards.
