Job Summary:
The Cycle Counter supports the Inventory Manager by ensuring accurate inventory records through cycle counting, data entry, and administrative support. This role plays a key part in maintaining inventory accuracy, identifying discrepancies, and supporting daily warehouse and production operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform daily cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
- Investigate and help resolve inventory variances.
- Enter and maintain accurate data in the ERP/MRP system.
- Assist with physical inventories and audits.
- Maintain inventory records, logs, and documentation.
- Generate basic reports on inventory accuracy and trends.
- Coordinate with production, purchasing, and warehouse teams to resolve issues.
- Monitor and track inventory movement and adjustments.
Support the Inventory Manager with administrative tasks and special projects.
Required Skills/Abilities :
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1–3 years of experience in inventory, warehouse, or administrative support preferred.
- Basic computer skills (Excel, data entry, ERP systems preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and follow processes.
Work Environment:
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds (e.g., files, packages, or office supplies).
- Repetitive hand and wrist movements for typing and data entry.
- Ability to communicate effectively via phone, video calls, and in-person meetings.
- Occasional walking, standing, or bending to retrieve or file documents.
- Manufacturing plant and warehouse setting.
- Daily use of inventory systems.
- Occasional lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- May be exposed to different weather extremes to inspect parts that may be located outside and in different areas stored outdoors.
Will require time on the production floor and in inventory storage areas.
