We are seeking a motivated and skilled Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Tow Truck Driver to join our dynamic team. Duties

• Safely operate CDL A tow trucks, including flatbed and other specialized vehicles, to recover and transport vehicles of varying sizes and types
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections prior to towing to identify mechanical issues or safety concerns
• Secure vehicles onto tow trucks using proper cargo securement protocols to prevent movement during transit
• Perform minor mechanical repairs and basic vehicle troubleshooting as needed to ensure tow truck functionality and readiness
• Assist customers with vehicle loading and unloading while providing excellent customer service throughout the process
• Follow all safety procedures related to vehicle recovery towing, cargo securement, and safe vehicle loading onto tow trucks
• Maintain accurate logs of all towing activities, including details of recovery operations, vehicle conditions, and delivery documentation

Requirements

• Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record and experience operating commercial trucks with manual transmissions
• Proven experience in automotive diagnostics, automotive repair, and minor mechanical vehicle repairs
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to vehicle mechanics for truck drivers and basic troubleshooting skills
• Familiarity with cargo securement protocols, vehicle recovery towing techniques, and safe vehicle loading procedures
• Ability to handle conflict management professionally when dealing with customers or challenging situations
• Experience with flatbed tow trucks or similar equipment is preferred but not required; training will be provided if necessary
• Physical ability to load/unload vehicles manually or using equipment such as forklifts when needed; comfort working outdoors in various weather conditions
