Warranty Administrator Responsibilities
- Review warranty paperwork from multiple repair facilities and request corrections when necessary.
- Ensure all warranty claims comply with manufacturer audit requirements.
- Follow vendor and Interstate policy and procedural guidelines.
- Create and monitor warranty claims across multiple vendor sites.
- Reconcile weekly credit memos.
- Create and track warranty parts returns.
- Support branch-level teams with warranty claims.
- Work with the warranty department to maximize warranty recovery.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and time-management skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively.
- 3 years of truck or automotive service writing or warranty claim experience required.
- Positive attitude and self-motivation; able to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including excellent customer service and phone etiquette.
- Highly organized and effective at managing time and tasks.
- Commitment to success in a fast-paced, detail-oriented role.
- Computer proficiency (Excel, Word, Excede OS).
