Job Title: Transport Refrigeration Technician

Pay Range: $35.00-$45.00/HR (depending on experience)

Interstate Power Systems is looking for an experienced Transport Refrigeration Technician that requires extensive knowledge of Carrier and/or Thermo-King refrigeration units. If you have performed all levels of maintenance services on Carrier and/or Thermo-King refrigeration units designed for commercial trucks, vans, and trailers then we want to talk to you!

We are seeking a skilled and experienced TransportRefrigeration Technician/Mechanic to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to install, maintain, and repair Carrier or Thermo-King refrigeration systems and or other transport refrigeration equipment used in various industrial and commercial settings. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Carrier and/or Thermo-King refrigeration systems and possess strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Refrigeration Technician/Mechanic Job Duties

• Responsible for troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair on all Carrier and/or Thermo-King refrigeration units.
• Accurately and efficiently diagnose complex engine conditions and make necessary repairs.
• Communicate effectively with peers, foreman, and service team regarding those repairs.
• Quality control work performed to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.
• Keep paperwork updated and handed in upon completion.
• Meet requirements for certifications.
  
  

Refrigeration Technician/Mechanic Position Requirements

• Valid Driver's license (Bonus compensation for CDL holders)
• Must possess a good work ethic, a positive attitude, and be reliable.
• Must possess an excellent understanding of Carrier and/or Thermo-King Refrigeration units.
• Other mechanical skills desired but not essential: Hydraulics, Brakes & Suspension, Manual Transmissions and drive train, automatic transmissions.
